  • DAY ON THE HILL- Tuesday May 22! (Tuesday, May 15, 2012)

Cyber Alert - Day on the Hill

The information you have been waiting to see!

PA Virtual will join PA Families for Public Cyber Schools and a host of other Public Cyber Charter schools in the 6th Annual Day on the Hill.   The event is on Tuesday, May 22nd!  We hope you are making plans to attending.  The battle is still raging regarding Charter School funding.  There is a huge push by the PSBA and the PSEA to cut the funding for our cyber schools.  While we are working to educate our legislators about our schools we need you to be in Harrisburg to show them how much our school and school choice means to you and your family!

Schedule of events for the day

9:30 Check-in/pick-up information packets behind the State Museum located at:

300 North Street Harrisburg, PA 17120
                     (717) 787-4980

9:30 am-11:30 am:  Meet with Legislators at the Capital Building

10:30 am-11:45: Lunch will be available back at our tent behind the museum

11:45 am: All Families and Staff March to Capitol

12:00 pm: Rally at Capitol Fountain

12:30 pm-4:00 pm: Families to meet with Legislators

Additionally, we have provided some added attractions your family may want to see during your visit in Harrisburg.  Parking suggestions have been shared for your convenience.

We encourage you to make your presence known and your voice heard. Make plans to be at the Capitol on May 22nd!  Let’s show the legislature that school choice is priceless.
